• In cities and communities that are sustainable there is less air pollution
• People have access to clean water and sanitation and there are safe waste collection systems
• People have access to public transport and green spaces
• People can choose more sustainable ways to travel instead of by motorbike, car or plane
• There are human rights related to sustainable cities and communities, for example:
• Right to health
• Right to equality and to not suffer discrimination
• Right to adequate housing
• Right to participate in cultural life
